This look is pretty easy to pull off. Daybed - check, favorite quilt or table covering behind bed - check, lots of pillows (maybe not too many) - check, pretty throw rug, cute ethnic round table, to ease off the sacharine sweet impression and wa la! This is a fine-looking boudoir for a lassie of any age!

What a nice room for a boy!

There is such a calm, yet exciting feel to this room. The sunlight streaming in allowing for the bed to be a wonderful place to read and contemplate the world he (or she) is about to take on. I love the book shelves surrounding the bed and the cool quilt against the modern frame, and the adorable oriental side table sort of makes the whole thing pop. As a mother of two sons, I know that boys appreciate hip rooms just like the girls do.
